Bird Flu Outbreak in Ontario Farm
Birds at a turkey farm in Ontario have tested positive for Avian Influenza. The farm, near Woodstock, was tested after it experienced higher than average numbers of sudden deaths of birds over several days.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has placed the farm and its neighbour under quarantine. All affected birds will be suffocated to death with carbon dioxide gas.
The name and location of the farm has not been released.
